Carers Culture Club Norwich is a non-profit making group, supported by Carers Forum, and was started in 2005 to give carers the opportunity to participate in water colour painting classes.
In January 2009 Carers Culture Club expanded to provide information, companionship, holidays and outings and they also organise four or five workshops each year.
Their aim is to give respite time to carers and former carers, to enable them to pursue various activities such as watercolour painting as a hobby, taking part in competitions, watching demonstrations such as flower arranging, acrylic painting and beading – and generally having fun and games with like-minded people.
They also have one or two events each year where they also include the cared-for.
Meeting on the first Wednesday of each month at the Owen Barnes Room, Breckland Road, New Costessey, Norwich between 9.30am and 2.00pm.
